As per my post in another thread, I have been advised that the Z1010 is due for release by 3 tomorrow (Wednesday 7 July 2004) and they will be followed by Vodafone next week. How true it is I don't know and despite efforts with numerous 3 shops, I have received the following answers;
3-4 Months but by the end of the year latest
Don't know when, but it is coming
Maybe later this month, I had heard the middle but there is confirmation of the release date
I think next month but it was due in January
Soon, very very soon, probably August
As you can read, there is no real consistency in advice from people at 3 generally and I have not tried Vodafone. Please could anyone, employee or whatever please shed light on my findings. I know it is a case of 24 hours but I think we've been this close before.

just get the LG its better it does everything the Z1010 does but is'nt a huge brick with no style. Sure it doesent have a MS duo slot but theirs no need as the screens to small to watch movies on.

The Z1010 is a 3g-K700 with mem slot. Thats it. No real difference in menu's etc.
I have not been on the LG, but I expect most 3g phones to be similar. My NEC313 is quite a cool phone. Even if 3 have screwed it so you can't edit ANY settings or browse outside their 'web' portal.

The screen is amazing, big and clear/bright. But no radio thou ... But i rather have the MS Duo than the radio
