Bookmark topic
I have bought online three weeks ago, through Handango, the small utility SMSextender from SIMEDA.
http://www.simeda.com/smsxtender.html
Have followed all the instructions on ho to get the activation code, etc. Never heard back from them ... I have followed up with a couple of emails ... no response.
Bottom line I have been charged 10€ for a piece of software I can't use. Either this product/company is a hoax or they are out of business.
Either way, don't buy anything from them!!!
(Edit to heading. This topic seems to have been picked up by SIMEDA. Owner of the comany has signed up as a member of Esato Forums to solve the matter in public)

Am very surprised for this. Try to e-mail Handango as well.

It reminds me the "Wrong registry key" of Philips Camcoder...
I think it's a Handango issue, just email them.

I had a similar problem with updating Worldmate but finally go it sorted. A very good service from them.

I have notified Handango of the issue ... they are just the intermediary who sell the software.
To get the activation key you need to send an SMS to SIMEDA which I did THREE TIMES. I have sent SIMEDA two emails to their support address (support@simeda.com) and never received any answer.
So it is definitely a SIMEDA issue...
Hope Handango will refund me the monies ....

Didn't this come up a while ago (I could be wrong!)
I think they are a "one man band" and when he's on his holidays etc the whole thing stops.
Not sure, but I think it's the same company

E-mail Handango again and ask them to get in contact with them. Try to be patient as well for a reply from but dont get aggressive through your e-mails yet. Maybe is the case of holidays as it was mentioned before.

After 4 days no reply from Handango either ... how frustrating. I guess I can say bye bye to my 10 € ...

Don't be so harsh on Simedia. As I see, the whole company consists of a single student. He may be having his end-term exams right now...but I'm sure he's doing his best

In the meantime if I were you I would change the title. In case he has a problem for replying at this stage and later on he gives you a responce and solves your problem, then you could be accused for disparagement from him.
