is there any way to transfer files alot faster? i copy mp3 files to my fone but its too slow...

im using my P800s sync station... USB connection... until now the copying is not yet done... jst a 3mb plus mp3

remember that using USB cables they are only a serial interface to USB

I use BT and IR have no complaints about speed

edit: but remember also that you can up the COM port speed to 115k for maximum performance

BT is by far the fastest - because this is the only connectiontype that does not use a serial emulation - it uses Obex.
Both IR and usb Cable use serial emulation with fastest setting of 115.200bps.

using BT Obex for filetransfer and you get about 24kb/s transfer speed - thats a 1.5 mb mp3 in about a minut and all 40mb in under 30 minuttes.

Comparison:

Cable or IR seriel emulation: 800kb mp3 transfertime 2.35min
BT Obex transfer : 800kb mp3 transfertime 35sec

Thats almost 5 times as fast as IR or Cable.
