ah yes i see now, but this cant be right:
Batt: 100%
Estimated Time Left: 2hrs 57mins
I ONLY GOT THE PHONE 1 1/2 WEEKS AGO!!!
the batt. drains very quickly, i have 2 recharge every 1-2 days. but 2hrs 57mins is a bit drastic...

it seems that as the battery decreases, the time remaining gains

The battery is now at 82% and 8hrs 10mins remaining

!

u should get used to it, these batts arent very stabil. since t68m never showed the real and actual standby and call time.

I have also noticed the somewhat peculiar behaviour regarding the Estimated Time Left every now and then. It sometimes starts to count upwards, minute by minute, gaining time left as the real time moves on!
It probably primarily depends on the complexity of the algorithms that are involved when calculating these figures. These algorithms probably has to take a lot of conditions into account: current temperature, current consumption, average standbytime so far, average talktime so far, ratio between standby- and talktimes so far, ....
The same somewhat peculiar behaviour can sometimes be noticed on the phones battery indicator as well: the indicator bar sometimes jumps or moves in either direction, especially in direct connection with making or taking calls. It's because the phone continously recalculates the figures due to the new conditions.
The figures are merely indicators and nothing else. So, don't depend on them and don't rely on them!
