I searched the forum but couldn't find anything about Verizon Wireless because this is a mainly UK forum I understand.

I was wondering if anyone here has ever gotten the Verizon Wireless service to work on an unlocked T610. My friend doesn't have sim card in his phone I was wonderng if it were possible for him to go to the verizon store and have his plan put on one.

Please help me, and if this information is already posted somewhere on this forum please post a link instead of flaming, sorry. Thanks

as far as I know Verizon wireless is a TDMA provider in the US and all t610 series phones operate on the GSM network. So the plain answer to your question is no, it is not possible, even if Verizon for some odd reason was capable of providing a sim card.

If your friend wants one of the newer, more advanced phones, try switching to a GSM provider like Cingular, AT&T or T-Mobile.

Thank you, that was basically what I figured. I just didn't know the name of the type of network Verizon was.
