I'm getting fed up with this. I've tried MPEG4 direct maker and created a MP4 file from my WMV. Now when I try to play it I get an error message - "video dimension to large" why can't things just work.

Have u tried Packet Video Author?
Also I think that 'too large' thing is cos it's a P800, it would work on a P9. U need to adjust some settings somewhere.

The PVAuthor version I have is a trial one and appeared to do nothing.
I've tried 4 different programs , all of which claim to convert, but appear to convert time into a complete waste of time.
