im havin trouble using the computers adsl connection on my phone

ive got the p900 pc suite installed and a bluetooth dongle also.

after ive installed the pc suite i get a phone connection link in the system tray.

i connect to the serial port by going to my bluetooth places and clicking the serial port connection....but i dont know what to do afterwards

help is much appreciated

didnt find my answer there...which is why i posted here...

if i connect to the serial port which in my case happens to be COM PORT 5.....n then if i go to the phone connection link and i tick on the com port 5 box nothing happens..and sumtyms it even says it cant enable that port bcos its being used by something else..

i think i am using a WIDCOMM BT Dongle....can anyone help?

because a virtual com port connection has to be made with a phone in order to be able to use an internet connection from a pc on a phone.

back to the prob...can anyone help

As I said, I don't think you can use the 'built in ' internet. You must use an internet connection program like Opera that picks up you PC broadband connection

pc suite doesnt seem to recognise my phone wen using bluetooth...it just says not connected

i can use the usb cradle though and that works fine but i cant use the bluetooth as it doesnt connect to the phone.

I had a similar problem.

If it's the same as mine make sure that the com ports connection is not sercured.

(with mine My Bluetooth Places > right click on Serial Port > properties)
