> Sending SMS & MMS messages through my PC
Bookmark topic
Is it at all possible to use my PC's internet connection as a way of sending SMS or MMS messages?
My operator (T-Mobile) charge me to send them out the usual way, so I wondered if there was any internet gateway that I could use.
I know some websites like Lycos and Tiscali allow you to send SMS messages directly, and I guess I can always log onto these using Opera and my PC's net connection. But it would be much nicer if I could use the P800's normal SMS application.
Any suggestions?

Yes I read that topic. That's for sending SMS from the PC through the phone.
I want to send SMS from the phone through the PC.
Everyone seems to be giving me a hard time on here today *sob*

Make up your mind...
But if your talking about a program that mimes the Messages aplication from P800 and sends messages through landline, or using a website you're out of luck!
(people request such things these days

)

I'm a bit hungover today, so perhaps my request wasn't as clear as it could have been.
But I don't see how me saying I want to use the P800's normal SMS application to send an SMS is changing my mind.
It's what I want to do. Use the SMS messaging application on the P800 to send an SMS through my PC's internet connection.
I think this would be a very useful thing for many people, especially those with Bluetooth adapters, as they could send SMS messages for free whenever they were at home.
I'm sorry you think my request is strange in any way. Perhaps I should go post it on a cooking forum or something???
