Hey guys I've heard the S700 has a scratch-proof screen. Does the K700 have the same type of screen?

Nope.
I noticed my first scratch this morning and have now "installed" a screen cover.
bit of a pain as the screen doesn't look as "vibrant" with it on but I love the phone too much to put it at risk !

Well I used Magic Tape to protect the screen and used a sharp paper knife around the edges..!

It is an invisible tape... Unlike the normal kind tape (whatever it is made of), magic tape is white but once it sticks to a surface, it is invisible...

No they used toughened glass / plastic.
My watch has a scratchproof glass, and its been through many drops and taken many hits to the face, and the glass is still totally scratchproof 4 years later.
To prevent dust / damage to my K700, im now using a Jon Thursday Crumpler case
Available from:
