Here's a sight to make all P900 owners cry:
Bit of a mess, aint it! I've just bought this with the intention of restoring it. I need some bits (see my thread in the 'accessories wanted' section:)

My first question is - what buttons do I press to get it to the standby screen? With my P800, you press the power button, it then asks me if I want to turn the phone on, or go into flight mode etc. Is it the same for the P900? Also, is there a website or a way of checking a phone's IMEI to see if it's been blocked at all?
I'll try to keep updating this with my progress, and more silly questions no doubt

@sammy_boy -

I guess there is no such website where you can find all celfones in the world which has their IMEIs blocked

Unless, there is the so-called imei.com site

I guess in this case you'll have to browse it by - country, which I'm sure is a painstaking endeavor to do

Good luck mate!

just put a new screen in the phone (which I thought I'd cancelled the order for..... evidently not!!) and confirmed it is blocked - it constantly says 'searching' when trying to find a network.
Oh well, does anyone have a P900 (NOT blocked) with a broken screen they're willing to part with?

Or you can change the IMEI, but that's illegal, so do NOT do it.
