Dear All,
I've been trying to setup my T68i on the AT&T GSM/GPRS network and would like some help. I've been following the directions at:
http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/pocketpc/stepbystep/gprs.asp
And it seems to be working well up to the point where it connects. I can get the iPaq to dial out the **99***1# with the T68i via the IR port. However, it won't connect. I have no idea if "1" is the correct APN number, let alone if AT&T GSM supports the ETSI dial-up code.
I do know that the APN that I setup for AT&T GPRS Data on my T68i is "proxy". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I tried to connect my T68/Bluetooth to my IPAQ using AT&T. From the ATTWS site (http://www.attwireless.com/mobileinternet) you can download the Mobile Professional software for AT&T; however, it will only use the IR connection not Bluetooth. AT&T technical support does not support Bluetooth. I'm still trying to connect using some of the settings I've found in the software. Let me know if you can connect.

that really blows...I wanted to get a 3870 so that I could cruise the web while on the train or bus.

I was able to get Bluetooth and GPRS to work on AT&T Wirlesses GPRS network. You all basically had the basics down, just one thing missing, the correct APN.
Your "dial-up" number will be *99#. Your APN will be "proxy" (no quotes, all lower case). Everything else in your setup is default. When you're prompted for a user name, password, and domain on your connection, leave it all blank and submit the form. You'll then be connected in just a few seconds!
If you need help setting things up, go to MS PPC site for detials:
