> Problem with P900

Hello All...
FINALLY got my P900 the other day after telling Orange how to deliver a phone! BUT...
They had blacklisted the phone when I received it for some reason and the sim update didnt come through. after DAYS of phonecalls and orange saying 'everythings fine here, its your phone!' they realised they had blacklisted it and took it off.
Anyway. Whilst trying to sort the problem out, someone from orange recommended I do a master reset on the phone. So I backed it up like a good boy and master reset.
HOWEVER ...
Now when I go to restore, the box titled 'preparing for install' comes up and the progress bar starts going across until it gets to the end, then it just freezes and nothing happens. No restore ( I have to take the battery out of the phone to restart it.). I have tried everything I can think of. Re-installing p900 suite, etc. So now I have lost all my contacts!
So I was wondering if any of you very helpful people out there have had similar problems or know how to fix it or even know how to get my numbers from the backup file. I'm not bothered about the progs as they are on my pc anyway.

Well, try to unistall all the programs related to your P900. Restart the computer and install them again. Restart the computer again. Once you are done with this my advise is to do an update of your mobile with the latest firmware even if you already have the latest firmware.

got it sorted. i had already reinstalled p900 stuff on pc. all i did was restored fone first, then memory stick and it worked fine. but wouldnt do both together! thanx for your help anyway!
