> K700 bought from OneStopPhoneShop
Bookmark topic
Hi all,
I have decided against an upgrade from Vodafone because they re-branded the K700 and locked it for Vodafone Live.
Has anyone bought K700i from OneStopPhoneShop online retailer? Or any of the non-network-associated shops such as CPW and P4U?
Are the phones bought from these places (on Pay Monthly tarriff, such as Vodafone, not Sim-Free ones), generic, unbranded K700 ie. no operator logo, non-customised menu etc, or are they customised for networks too?
I really dislike customised hardware, especially the UGLY Vodaphone logo plastered all over the place on my phone, I endured it for my Sharp GX20 cause it's Vodafone exclusive, but I'm not going to take this crap from them on a SonyEricsson, aethetic is everything!
If I can't find a non-customised Pay Monthly unit, I'd rather buy it one SimFree.
Thanks in Advance.

I bought mine from onestopphoneshop last week. I asked the question regarding unbranded phones and they said ALL their phones are sim free. My K700i arrived in the correct sony ericsson box and is perfect.
It is on the vodafone contract which gives £80 cashback...cant complain.

Well I just puchased 2 from OSPS and although I got them free and loads of goodies including bluetooth headsets, car chargers etc, it was an Orange branded phone with all the Orange customisation! Still, the phone is so nice I can live without assigning my own shortcuts (though still think Orange are very naughty)!
