i just acquired a p730 today, i got it from a friend whose intentions was to sell it. obviously this is a prototype since there were no label at the back of the phone. it has a 256k color screen and an oled display which supports 256 colors. the proto was very buggy and had major hardware faults, when flip is closed the external display wouldnt show nething unless you twist it at another angle. it can't shoot landscape mode aswell. it has a 50046kb of internal memory and is supported with an external memory (however i am not sure of which card, mmc or the smaller mmc). it has a built in mp3 player and the 1 mega pixel camera. i am no samsung lover, but i was impressed by the cam quality. it supports: mega(1152*864), VGA(640*480), QVGA(320*240), Mobile(176*176) and QCIF(176*144). You could choose the quality of super fine, fine, normal and economy. the menu is quite easy to use, but comin from different UI interfaces i had a hard time of coping up with it.

it does...but the build quality seems kinda weak and i never found the real reason why its lcd could be swiveled and rotated blahblah...

@Skrue see if youre camera has somthing called macro'n it might be a pic of a flower on the camera it will give better close up pic's, i se that the focus is in the back ground all the time

u keep saying its buggy but what part of it is buggy. the video playback part or the operating system. or something else? and one more thing, does that phone function properly as a phone? or is the proto you got a dead phone?
