Hi guys!

I was wandering, i have recently bought a Z1010 and im thinking of using it as a MP3 player!
The problem is that the USB cable that comes along with it doesnt transfer at USB speed only serial! So it takes around 10mins to send a standard 5mb Mp3 to the song! Not too fun if you want a few songs!

Now as i understood it there are two paths to take! Either i getmyself a Memorystick Duo hub and trasfer files through that which then should go by real USB speed!
The second alternative is to use Bluetooth (or IR though i prefer BT) to comunicate with the PC and send files! Now my question is what do in need to do this, some kind of BT reciver/sender i belive?
I have firewire also if that is neccesary or an alternative

Ive also upgraded to a 120Mb MSDuo, and im whondering does the MSDuoPro (>120Mb) work with the z1010! Ive heard diffrent anwsers from diffrent directions about this, anyone know for sure?

Thanks alot for anwsers!

From what i know, the Z1010 is only compatible with Duo sticks, not Pro Duo sticks.

For your Bluetooth needs, go to your local pc store and buy a cheap Bluetooth USB dongle. Simple plug and play to use. Its worth noting however, even Bluetooth is a slow connection and can take just as long to transfer large files.

For sending mp3 is bt too slow. As I know and have tried with PDA best way is usb. Try memory card it's faster than bt. This message was posted from a T610

The MSD solution would be better and faster IMHO.
