hello. i am new to this board. i have a t610 with t mobile service and im still new to cell phones. well i have started looking at the k700i and it looks to be a sweet phone. my question is if i was able to get a k700i somehow wud i be able to use it with the service i have now?? ( as in stop using the t610 and switch to the k700i, if that makes sence at all, without having two bills) any help will be appreciated.

then u can just upgrade and u get a new k700 and u can keep ur t610 or sell it its yours
to be able to upgrade u usually hav to wait 12 months and then its free of u pay a bit
well that is the case in the uk anyway

If you buy a sim free K700, you could put almost any sim card in it (like the one inside your T610) and you just use the new phone from there.

Yes, as long as the K700 will accept any network's sim card (ie.e unlocked). My O2 contract sim started life in a Nokia 3200, and is now in my P800 via a few other phones I've fixed and been testing, and not had a single problem (so far). You shouldn't have to give up your T610 either - you can either sell it or keep it as a spare phone
