Make sure you have both MONKEY.000 and MONKEY.001 in the same directory on your phone? I have a working copy which you can download from my website.

Yes I have installed both MONKEY.000 and 001 in same directory. And they are installed in D:
Does it matter where they are installed? and in which directory?
Syntax: So your music works, and you have P900?
Maybe it matters how you install and where... ???? How and where did yuo install it ..
I would like to fix this soon, I want to play the game with music.
Does anyone know who ported scummvm 0.5 to p800/900 ? Cause he probabel could do a fast porting with 0.6 too.. Maybe that can fix some problems..

Found this on scummvm.org
Quote:
Compatibility
Game Compatibility Chart
Game Full Name Scumm Ver. Game Short Name % Completed
The Secret of Monkey Island (VGA Floppy) 5 monkeyvga 95%
Game is completable.
- Both Amiga and PC versions supported by this target
- No music with Amiga version
This basically means we need the atari version..
damn, I hope I have my atari disks left

, or google willhave to come to my survival..

ok, it took me awhile to find it,
BUT YES the atari version of Monkey island is with backgroundmusic!!!
so now I am happy again
"heap/lucas/ perhaps?" is a good search string...
EDIT: IT wasn't atari version, it was pc version..
