Hi
I set my phone's internet settings up on sony-ericsson's website, filling in my phone number and operator and receiving auto settings.
I did it and it works fine in the default browser, I can go online and visit websites etc.
But with any third party app(IRC, Messenger, Opera, Putty), I get a little window saying connect ro Vodafone-WAPGPRS and I click yes, but it never works, I look at the connection status and the upload kilobytes are increasing but the download kilobytes stay at 0.0
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

almost certainly you are using a wap gprs connection instead of an internet gprs connection.
