Hi. Can anyone help with my problem?

I had to re-install my operating system on my pc yesterday. I reinstalled the P900 suite but the pc is not connecting to the phone. I have it connected to the usb using the stand I got with my P800 as when I tried the stand I got with the P900 it wouldnt work. But It was fine before I reinstalled my OS. I have tried looking for a driver on the disc but it cannot find one. PC suite has installed fine. I get the phone moniter icon in the bootm right oof the screen but it doesnt search fo the phone. I have tried my camera in the same port and it recognises it straight away so I dont think its a problem with the port.

Any ideas?

Also, can i use this stand with the T68?

Have you tried updating the pc-suite? I installed pc-suite from the cd, but it didn't work for me either so I got the new version and haven't had any problems with sync since.

Cheers mate.
But I just tried that and it hasn't worked. Could it be a setting on my PC? when I double click on the icon, i get the list ...

Cable COM1
Cable COM2
Unknown COM3
Unknown COM4
Infared

The com 1&2 boxes are checked and all say not connected.

Any ideas??

I'm surprised there is no mention of USB on your list.

Mine looks like this....
Cable Com1 Not Connected
USB Com3 Connected
Infrared Not Connected

I'm guessing you haven't installed any USB drivers on your PC since you reinstalled everything. Can you get any other USB apps to work?

I think the Sony Installation disk has a USB driver on it somewhere. Try installing new hardware and finding this driver on the CD.
