I'm using K700i. Why can I hear a ringtone played on the earphones of K700i handsfree headset when a call is coming?

The ringtone itself, it only plays in the phone, not in the handsfree as well.

maybe not all headsets can play melodies??

I know mine (non by the way) only plays one standard sound for each action.... and that's it.

Is not neceasery to play melodies, if a call come the volume of headseat is down and you hear the melody from your phone.

It'll be very useful esp. when it's capable of playing personalized ringtones as well. You don't have to get your phone from your pocket just to see who's calling.

Use the voice tag function instead. Record a name for the contact and it will announce in your own voice who's calling when using the headset.

could it be because of the handsfree profile that needs the ringtone set beforehand? And what do you hear when the call comes in? Voice tags can also help, as previously mentionned...
