Hey Guys, tried a search but couldn't find anything...
After about 5 seconds playback i'm getting a "program closed: program - audio decoder" "reason code - program damaged" "reason number 0" message! Then the p900 freezes and i have to remove the battery to restart!! I've tried uninstalling and re-installing smartmove but it hasn't helped.
Anyone got any ideas PLEASE?!
Thanks in advance

"reason code - program damaged"

I am guessing you need to do a complete reinstall, including codecs. Make sure you uninstall all traces of Smartmovie including any files left on the C: drive after the uninstall. On my phone smartmovie is located at the following location;

C:\system\APPS\SmartMovie\

and the codecs here;

C:\system\codecs\

Other than that, a reformat is your only option. Good luck.

No problems with SM @ all. Make sure you phone's firmware is up-to-date. Moreover, look for conflicting driver files possibly from a different program. From 11 years of creating mobile Theater platforms I'd have to say the Pxxx line is a very stable device that I've tested multi-media (all existing formats) on. CodeWarrior has been a great tool to work with tweaking the platform for optimal performance.. I've managed a couple tweaks with SM's software from a collection of source codes. It opens up oportunities for competing developers.

I had the same problem, the card reader I was using was corrupting the file/video when it was being copied over, I purchased another one of the net for just £10, and the smartmovie is working again, playing the films fine.
