although my phone is on automatic key lock, It does not lock anymore. the keylock option also dissapeard from the jog dial forward menu. very strange.
I looked at pervious threads on the issue, one of them suggested taking the battery out. I did, but did not help.
And my phone is NOT ON CHAGRE in case anyone is wondering.
can anyone help?

turned it off and on a few time, took the battary out and back it, took the memory stick out and back in. still the same. no key lock

I wish i'd found this thread earlier!!! I had exactly the same problem and had to master reset!!!! No downloading upgrade to the firmware, hope my battery does not go flat. What happens if it does? Is my phone beyound repair? Gulp!!!

Aww man I had the same problem for weeks on end and it was driving me crazy! It seemed to fix itself after a while but maybe I had been changing some other random settings which "fixed" it...
