Hey guys awesome board you got going here, answered MANY of my questions about the p900.

Just a couple im needing some help with if you could help me out

I installed opera on the phone, tho it doesnt work, as in it doesnt load any pages. The program itself starts up ok and goes to the opera main page fine, i just cant browse with it, the internet browser that came with the p900 works ok so i know the settings are fine.

Also, i am able to change my background with flip open, tho i cannot do it with flip closed. Do i need to set the background and navigate thro the menus with flip closed to set a "flip closed" background? or can i do it with the flip open.

Im sure ill have many more questiong the more i play with the phone, but thats all i cant figure out for now

thanks again for all your help

welcome to esato

for the opera question, you are almost certainly using a wap GPRS data account rather than an internet GPRS data account and this explains why the internal browser works and opera does not. You should chat with your operator to get an internet type GPRS data account setup

you change the background for flip open or flip closed in the same menu, just click the appropriate tab at the bottom to choose whether you want to change flip open or flip closed settings

To transfer files, install applications and such you need the PC Suite software available from http://www.sonyericsson.com/ After installing the software you should see a P900 icon on your desktop. Click it or use explorer to browse directories. Then just drag n drop I don't use explorer as my main shell so it took quite a while to figure out how to transfer files
