A friend has got a 6230 and he has tried to send me an MMS video clip. According to him, the format is 3gp so no problems you would assume. Received the initial MMS from him, with a weird attachement (qa245zBuWB was the name), when I opened it, the progress bar moved across as if it was playing the clip, but nothing was displayed. A few minutes later I got an SMS from 02 saying I had received a message with an object incompatible with my phone, and I could only view it from their website. My friend is on Vodafone if that makes any difference. I've just sent a small clip to him. Reading on the 02 website it says that the max file size for an MMS sent to Vodafone is 25k.
Just saved the clip from the website, and sure enough, it is in 3gp format?? Any ideas?

It's the size thing mate. The max file size for video mms set by all manufacturers is 100kb-so blame both you service providers!

Well my message from 02 to vodafone worked ok, but vice-versa it doesn't. The message he is sending me is less than 25k. Tried to call 02, but got sick of being put on hold....
I'll get a friend to send a normal MMS message (without video) to see if that works.
