finally o2 got thir ac together and sorted out my order, it'll b here in 3-5 days. im finally coming back to se. i have a few queries.
1. what method should i use to charge my phone. to get best performance.
2. will all usb dongles work with the phone? i want to be able to send things back and forth. i know i need a terminator dongle to upgrade firmware and stuff. where can i get them? how much are they? is it easy to update firmware or am i better goin to a cpw
3. is it true that the phone takes 1mp pics on the highest setting using interpolation or was this something that is done using a program.
4. which games would you recomend downloading? 3d ones etc. does the phone support most java downloads? i used to have a v500 and it hardly played any java games i downloaded, same with my t610. most wap sites have games for nokia phones. will it play these?
5.what is the bluetooth remote function ive heard mentioned?
6. wat all comes in the box from o2-uk?
thanks in advance guys, i hope this phone is worth me taking out a 30 pounds a month tariff. if the phone isnt up to my high standards (ive had 33 phones in the last year and a half lol) i'll send it back.

1. there are loads and loads of threads on this. I locked one just yesterday because we're getting so many.
Indeed all these answers are out there many times but in the hope that repeating them brings this post up in a future search...
2. yes, they work fine. I got a bluetooth dongle from ebay for 16 pounds
3. the highest setting interpolates from 640 x 480 to 1280 x 960
4. get the ones from the

wap site first, they are minigolf, alien scum and blackdeal
5. this lets you control stuff on your pc, for example, like christerssons software does on T610. you can also control other hardware if you have the correct HID profile
6. can't remember as I didn't get mine from o2 but check the o2 K700 thread as I remember someone mentioning it. In general it should be a cdrom with sync software but get that from the

support site as there is a newer version there now. a headset which doubles as an antenae for the radio, manual, charger

I got a cheap (£14.99) bluopal bluetooth dongle and it works great for transfer of files and such. It is true about the pics, but the quality isn't very good so it's best sticking to VGA (640 x 480). You would probably get better results manipluating a VGA image on your pc. There is a thead
here with a whole bunch of Java games which work on the K700, most full screen with sound. I personally recommend Splinter Cell, XIII, and Prince of Persia. All transfer easily va BT. The remote function allows you to use HID (human interface device) profiles included with the phone to control certian applications on your pc, for example a powerpoint presentation. An image of what phone button does what appears on the screen. Unfortunately with my BT dongle I cannot get this to work, however if you download FMA it will work with probably all BT dongles , and allows control of a much wider range of programs (iTunes, PowerDVD etc.) Hope this helps.

£30 a month.....
That's the contrat i've gone with to get mine free....
If £30 is too much you should be able to downgrade your price plan after 6 months.
One thing I might suggest is not to get it from O2 cos I got mine from The Link and they gave me an unlocked, unbranded phone. I suspect with it coming from O2 you'll get one of their branded phones.
I am selling my Nokia 6600 for my K700i and havent regretted it so far, it's a fine phone!
The JAVA suppot is excellent. All of the games that were on my 6600 work fine on my K700i and some are even faster running on my K700.
