I would like to see someone come up with a small stand that you could set down on a table that would hold the p900 (rotated sideways) and tilted back at an angle (30-40 degrees?). It would be great for comfortable viewing of videos on planes, trains etc.
It should be real easy to make, just a small rubberstand, with something like a V-notch in it that would allow placement of the phone.
Do this exist? Anyone having done any DYI stuff on the subject?

Must admit I prefer to hold it in my hand / masked as I don't want some F**K wit clocking it whilst I'm on the train and becoming a 'marked man'
Prevention better than cure

Just hold it saves you carrying even more crap in your pocket. Also what if it is rocked and falls off the table? Or it gets nicked stop being lazy hold the damn thing!
I dont see a market for this so we'll never see one. You'll have to make it yourself or maybe one of the loanilier members of esato will help

I found this weird metal shape the other day laying around the flat which I thought would make a handy item to carry in my bag, so that I could whip it out on the train and enjoy a movie without having to hold the phone and in turn get muscle cramp. I am going to snip one end half shorter than the other, then file it round and smooth.

I know this is a forum for people who are pretty much obsessed with mobile phones. BUT is there anyone else besides me who thinks that this is taking the story a little to far !! No offense intended. But surely you could spend your time more constructively ??

Hmmm, constructively..., you mean like posting completly useless messages to this forum?? Yeah, I Think I'll try that rather than getting a stand for my P900 MP4-player...
Anyway - Syntax's soon-to-be stand is in principle doing what I want, I'll probably hunt around the house to see if I can fix something similiar, but smaller

i knows it seems stupid but i would really want a stand just like this!!
i spend a lot of times on trains and it gets to be a pain holding the phone up watching movies.
what i do at the moment is prop it up against the case (the original one it came with)
works ok but i would like something better
