Hi guys i am getting a K700i tomorrow and i was wondering if i am doing the right thing? I have just got rid of a Sony Ericsson T610 which i didn't really like anyway and now i am getting a phone that i totally don't know anything about it. Can you please supply me with some websites from which i can recieve free stuff such as wallpapers (not naked woman), decent poly's and most importantly free software.

You dont need polys for the k700. It plays MP3's for ringtones!;)

Hi and welcome, if you used a T610 before then there is no problem, K700 is allmost the same. For free contents I can only recommend to use the search

I'd have to ask why you didn't like the T610. If it's just too slow, the K700 is quite a bit faster. But if you don't like T610 interface, chances are you won't like the K700 since it's similar.

There are some improvements in K700 contacts over T610/630. It shows default number as soon as you scroll over the contact name, and the joystick toggles other numbers in that contact without having to drill down.

Other notable improvements from T610 include hi-res screen, better camera, mp3 ringtone, external speakers, and many interface details changes.

@Lembo - I've got a branded Orange K700 and believe me it uses MP3s for ringtones just fine

No problem mate

Poor Vodafone Live users. It's soo cool to hear a perfect version of the Imperial March from Star Wars blaring out when I get a call
