Has anyone else found that the sound recorder is really rubbish, i mean your supposed to be able to record anything and use it as a ringtone but i find its really quiet and slightly destorted and thats recording right in front of a stereo speaker? I fully agree

You have better sound results from built-in video recording

But most smart-fones have same recording capabilities

Guess it depends on the source. I tried recording the Pearl & Dean tune (you know ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-baba-ba)at the cinema as a ring tone and it was shite (too quiet and amplified ditored too much)

For F1 it works very nice (did the same last year at the hungaroring...
noticed that there were a lot of guys with P800!)
I made one at the Qualy just from one car and it was fantastic, you heard it coming through the curve accelerating with the TC on and than driving away (till 6th gear).

But last week I was at a party and I wanted to record some mixing from G-spot (a DJ in my country), and it sounded terrible (the recording!)
