Hello, I'm looking for an e-mail client that is better than the one embedded in the P900's operating system. I've tried Email Viewer, a java based mail client: it has nice functions, but it uses its own contacts folder, instead of the phone's one. I'm not going to keep two contacts folders updated at the same time, I wonder if there's a better way or a better program.
Thanks in advance.

There is one called OpenHand around.
Never tried it though. The default email client works well for me.

What do you need it for that the default one doesn't already do?

I want a little bit more options then the default client offers.
Ex. Suport for HTML, PDF and Word attachments, images and spam-filtering etc.

Cheers!

Have you thought about using a web based email client through Opera, or your phone's Internet browser?

Even Yahoo lets you check other POP accounts, supports HTML and multiple attachment types. It even has attachment viewers, so you don't need them installed on your phone.

That's what I'd do anyway, but it might be a bit slow over WAP/GPRS.

Why not use the built in email client to download headers, and get all your plain emails that way, then use Yaho for any fancy pants ones.
