So I just received my replacement k700 from the SonyEricsson Eshop UK. This one was still built in 04W22. Its amazing they still have stock of that batch!
One of my issues is still present in this phone. It can take quite a few seconds for the missed/dialled/received calls list to appear. If the numbers in the list are in the phonebook, its very quick. If the numbers in the list are not, this slows the appearance of this display.
The keypad lights on this one are all pink. The last one had a mix of pink and white. This one is all pink. It really is a lottery on the LEDs at the factory!

Yeah pink! Well the buttons around the joystick are the most pink. The numeric buttons are more like a lilac colour.
At least it looks intentional rather than the last one with half one colour and half another!

Maybe you are color blind and the display issue could be operator induced. I think you can be happy with that phone.

I'm so glad my K700 has a bluey tinge. If it was pink id have to get down the shops and buy a frilly pink shirt, and i'd need to dump the wife and find me a Freddie look alike for my new best friend!

i'm on my 6th k700 and its the least pink because of camera faults [i think the branhc of cpw i was getting them had a dodgy 04W23 batch]. its more of a grey. it was built in 04W01 which is weird. brand new batch at cpw

I had mine changed cause of a fault too. It (the LEDs) used to be white, but the new one is very... Well, I wont say pink... Lilac is a good word!

04W01? That is weird. But there seems to be an absolutely huge number of 04W22 around which may suggest they are forgetting to update the sticker in the factory! Unless they have an absolutely mammoth sized factory.
Interesting thing about my replacement is that the bluetooth never gets stuck anymore. I could make the old one go wrong within a couple of minutes, and i wouldn't be able to turn off the bluetooth without switching off the phone. I can't make this one go wrong...but it has the same firmware!

Can we see these 'pink' leds?

I will have to try and photograph it again. Last time, the buttons appeared bright white in the picture due to the exposure being correct for the phone and background, and not the buttons.
I will have another go and post it if it works. I have now noticed after a search that some T630s had pink buttons too. It seems they have multiple suppliers of LEDs, and it is just luck which batch is used in your phone. The trouble is my first phone had a strange mix which just looked odd!
