In normal dialing if you press and hold * key for a few seconds "p" is displayed. This is used to give a pause in dialing. This is useful when you need to dial any extention after dialing the number. For instance you need to dial the number 1234567 and then ext 987 then just press

123456p987 and send. Phone automatically gives a few secod pause before dialing the ext 987.

Problem:
While adding a new contact in k700i you select the following options
->phonebook
-> New Contact
-> Enter Name
-> Enter number
but here p does not appear no matter how long you press the * key.

I have found out a way around!! which is simply add the number from the call list, but dont you think it is a bug in the phone?

----------------
Similarly you cannot enter "p" in voice mail number. This feature is really usefull in telebanking through IVR where you have to remember and dial long numbers such as credit card numbers.

Even handier for the thief who nicked your phone when he browses your phonebook!

For the pause (p) Press and hold the '7' key instead of the '*' while adding a number, or dialing from the standby menu.
