Just got my K700i and its great apart from i cant use the data transfer using bluetooth option. The only bluetooth services I get are the dial up networking (DUN) and drivers for keyboard, mouse, etc.. (HID). Ive installed all the software, and authenticated the phone with the computer, but the software just will not recognise the phone? How is it so that the computer states the phone is authenticated, but the S.E. software wont recognise it? Im using the same Bluetooth Dongle that came with my Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse, this couldnt be a problem could it if its recognising the phone? Any help would be much appreciated as im baffled!! Cheers, Steve

I am pretty sure I saw somewhere that the wireless keyboard bluetooth "dongles" have limited functions. They only support what is required to support a keyboard/mouse.

aahhh that would explain why its only giving me 2 services then, which are basically to do with the keyboard and mouse anyway. Guess ill have to invest in another dongle then

Its a shame because i can still use the remote function to control the mouse and keyboard with my phone, I just cant use the file transferring software. Thanks for your help

You could check with Microsoft, if there is support on their dongle for phones. I know Logitech has support for BT phones on their keyboard/mouse bt equipment.

As far as I remember, there were many threads about the MS BT dongle problem, and I'm pretty much sure that nobody had found a workaround to solve it, but do not trust me and try with SEARCH..
Good luck!
