After watching my 1 month old P900 develop about 13 faults or more over the last 3 days I was getting slightly miffed. I decided to take it to my nearest
repair centre.
I was told that a software upgrade would sort it out (phone organiser is R4 and latest firmware is R5 according to the
website).
After waiting for an hour my P900 was returned. I checked to see if the faults had been sorted to find that the problems were still present and the firmware had not been upgraded.
This caused yet another 30 mile trip back to the centre to get the phone sorted.
I was told that the P900 will need to go back to the manufacturer to have the repairs done.
I was then told that I will have to go without my P900 for 4 months or more due to a massive backlog of returned p900's for repairs.
Surely this is wrong
Have decided to buy one of the pen type phones sim free in silver for £101 brand new. Hopefully it will tide me over untill my P900 arrives back home if I do ever see it again.
