Did the site state the program was compatible with J2ME or PersonalJava for the Px00?

It is possible that the java application you downloaded was created for another mobile phone. In which case it will be trying to call functions that are not available on your phone.

If it has been created to run on any java system it will work fine on your phone. Jut copy it to anywhere on the phone's memory. Go to the applications tab on your phone and selsct install from the menu.

What kind of dictionary do you need? There may well be some alternative applications around for the Px00.

Try this...

Personally I just use my phones internet connection and check words on www.dictionary.com. I saves taking up 5 meg of memory on words you might never need.

Good luck
