Hi,

I have all the various settings that i think i need for the setup of a P800 for GPRS and MMS setup (see http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=63791#post829935 ).

Can someone translate these or trouble shoot me as I have managed to get a connection, but it just sends data (1 or 2kb) and times out when sending an MMS message... Any ideas why?

Thanks in Advance
Paul

You may not be able to do much with it, becase it is new, so give em a ring, tell em, they may even credit ur account with a couple of quid, virgin are very helpful!

I got it working on my P800. It's just that the P800 has some funny names for the IP Address (you have to enter it on the WAP Accounts Proxy Information bit). Now it works like a charm, except that you have to have a different WAP account for MMS (they use different gateways) and I cant download or send email yet for some reason :s

The tariff is 0.5p per KB which equates to ~ £5 per MB, which is reasonably expensive and 30p per MMS (which is kinda average).

Interesting, when you go to the SE Config Site it doesn't list the GPRS configurations option to Virgin in UK.

check it out in the following link:
