What batch of K700's is "safe" to buy? What is the newest batch? I'm pickng mine up today and want to be SURE mine is ok before I go to the states for my holiday...

There is no certain week date to look for.
But id be careful where you buy yours from. IMO it seems that people who got their imported from Asia before the European release of the phone are having the worst problems with the phone.
