I had a t610 and upgraded for free on 02 2 days ago.
I have seen no issues with the phone as mentioned in this forum, sticky keys, hanging, etc
Battery life is ok concidering that I am constantly playing the MP3s and games together.
Video quality is excellent for such a small gadget. The videos I downloaded through links on this site were very impressive. The quality of the videos taken are OK, nothing to write home about but then if I wanted high quality I would use my digital video camera that cost me £300.
The same goes for the MP3 player. If you rip some of you favourite tracks at a bit rate of 32 you get each track to about 1mb so you can have 30 tracks of you favoutire tracks and still have 12 meg free for games, videos and photos.
The camera again is excellent for such a small toy at such a low cost. Once more if I wanted really high quality images I woudld use my £250 digital camera.
A lot of people want these phones to do everything their dedicated cameras, music players, video cameras can do.
These phones a gadgets for people to have some fun with and this phone certainly does that.
What a great phone. I cant wait to see what comes out in the next 12 months for my upgrade next year.

To the expert in music it possibly does sound awful, but if I were such an expert then I would have a top notch MP3 player not just the toy one in my phone.
At a bit rate of 32 the sound is perfectly acceptable and gives you around 2 hours of music. Try a track at 32 and see what you think. I will try one at 96.

this is a great phone, i'd recommend it to anyone looking for its class, but the snooze function problem on recurrent alarm which sometimes works and doesn't really a let down, it perfectly works on a one time alarm though, so not a major issue here

Considering most non-"experts" can easily distinguish between a 128Kbps MP3 and a 160Kbps MP3 on good speakers, I can't believe a 32Kbps MP3 sounds even remotely acceptable on the K700i's speaker ... but I'll try later. Check if AAC has better compression for the same quality as an MP3 ...

I was N-Gage user. I once tried to play 32kbps mp3 file on N-Gage. it sounded terrible!
playing the same mp3 file on K700i is sooo much better! actually, I can hardly find the differences between 64kbps mp3 quality and the 128kbps one.
