Hi, how do the little K700 earphones work?:

Radio: Mono/Stereo?
MP3: Mono/Stereo?
Calls: Mono/Stereo? (i.e. handsfree)

Do the earphones put the K700 into the "Port H-Free" profile?
When a call comes in, does the ringtone play through the earphones?
Does it ring from the handset (k700) also?

I tried the earphones in a T610, and only the left earpiece worked :?

Radio: Stereo by default but if you set the tuner to mono, it will be mono (mono audio on both ear piece)

MP3: same as ratio (depend on source)

Calls: Mono on both ear piece

"Do the earphones put the K700 into the "Port H-Free" profile?"
Yes

"When a call comes in, does the ringtone play through the earphones?"
Yes

Does it ring from the handset (k700) also?
No (very bad)

Thanks for the answers...

On the T610, it rings in the both the handset and headset. Can't believe the K700 doesn't ring! Guess you'll have to keep the earpiece in your ear

@kidscruff

If you want to use your headset, why wouldnt it already be on your ears? It only rings in the headset on my P800, and I think that's the way it should be. My opinion, of course...

Sometimes you walk around with the phone in your pocket, listening to the radio, etc... but when you speak to anyone, or do anything, you take off your earphones.

So when you leave them plugged into the phone, you want to hear the phone ringing when someone's calling you, so you can put the earphones back in!

But then again if you do have the earphones in, you probably don't want to hear your phone ringing as well - but you can put it into silent for that.

I use portable HF in my car. It is not possible to hear when somebody calls me. I would prefer the phone to ring also as I donīt have the earplug in my ear when Iīm not speaking. Another case is that the light is impossible to have ON (always on) when using the portable HF. That was possible on T610/630. SE: Can U hear me ?
