Unpack the .rar -file. You can put the games anywhere. Then find the folder with the game files with escumm. Click 'choose' and it should present you the game's name. Press ok. Then choose the game you just added and enjoy..

Sorry I wasn't that clear before.. You should extract the .rar file as it contains the needed game rom files (monkey.000 and monkey.001). Once you get those files, move them to your phone..

I think without a PC it will be hard to unpack the .rar file.
I know you can unpack .zip files on your Pxxx with JZip, but I don't think that supports .rar files.

Guess you will have to borrow someones PC to unpack the files, or wait until someone develops a UIQ .rar application.

I have a PC but how do I extract .rar files? I always get them in "power archiver" format (Edoom, Maniac Mansion....) and when I try to extract the files to my desktop (let alone my phone), I get an error message that goes "There is a CRC error on file.....". Might be that I'm doing something wrong coz this is the first time I'm trying to extract a .rar file. Do I need a certain software to extract the files? Thanks

Yep, you need a program called WinRAR. Think you can get it from http://www.winrar.com

It's a good program, but I do wish people would stick to one format for compressing files for downloading. Like WinZip!

Anyway good luck with it.

If you email the .rar files to me, or send me the links to download them, I will gladly unrar them and email them back.

Can only do this from my home PC though, so might take a day or two depending on free time. So if you have the patience I'll help you.

@alpal. Where did you obtain the .rar files from? If you extract them with WinRAR and then move them to your phone under the 'other' directory they should work with Escumm. They do for me anyway.

WinRAR is a more verstile and powerful archiver than Winzip, however winzip is freely available with Windows (XP anyway). Installing WinRAR on your pc will allow you open and create many different types of archives, including Winzip.
