I also have one of those plug'n'go kits in one car and my K700 also freezes. does it every time without fail.
Still waiting for the K700 update site to come online again so I can update and see if that fixes this problem

thanks for the reply, ok so its not just my phone..... would you mind letting me know if you get it sorted. I've also seen the thread you mentioned but if I'm correct I haven't got access to a p800/900 so would be able to update myself. I contact a se service centre near me but they dont have any updates avl, probably in 2-3 weeks was told.

@rayleigh, you don't need a p800 or p900, just buy an individual DSS-20 or DSS-25 sync station (approx 11 pounds on ebay these days) and you're set. Well, you will be when the update site is online again
@bureno, the one I'm using came from
www.l8shop.co.uk and looks something similar to this one except it has a clip at the top too. also works for my t630 and my wifes T610

thansk for the info will have a look on ebay, likewise for my car kit I bought off ebay for my T610 and I originally though that might be causing the problems, maybe a slight increase in voltage or somethign which was causing tthe k700 to have problems. It will charge it when the phone is switched off, but then whats the point in that!! Ok I'll prob get one of those (thing's) which you mention but first go thru the long thread so I get an idea how it's all suppose to work.
thanks once again.
