Purchased my K700 a while back. So excited about the new phone.. I finally calmed down.. took a look checked the back, on the battery it says Li-Polymer BST-35 700mAh. Didn't think much of it. My friend recently bought one it says Li-ion CST-30 700mAh. Not sure the place i bought my phone did a battery swap and scammed me. Or is it like that.. Just bugging me. Thanks for the help in advance!!

well its hard to say. I mean, everyones been posting different results of their battery performance. Some has GREAT performance while others are not so great. I mean i know it's mainly on the user and how they use their phones but I purchased my phone in Hong Kong and i've been tricked quite a few times. But i usually find it out when I come back to Canada, nothing i can do then.
Just wondering if there was an actual difference.
Is the answer out there?

well..!
if you have bought the phone in Hong Kong then you will get the BST-30 battery..as most countries in asia are getting the stock..I live in India and I have the same BST-30 battery..Performance improves after 5 complete re-charges..!
Nice to see you after long time vlam..I upgraded to K700i from my troubled Z 600..

Hmm.. not sure about mine, fiddle with it sometimes when im bored, i recieve quite a few calls, but most of the time on average im down to 25% by the time im home. Not sure if thats good or poor performance.
Usually take 10-15 pictures a day.
Around 1 call every 5 min but not for very long(Business Phone)

Techincally I don't think there will be any difference in BST-30 or BST-35 just different regions..Mine mentiones that it was made in S.Korea and Finished in China..So only plausible reason could be that you have the battery that's made in china completely..Well I use my phone for like 1 Hr Talk/1 Hr MP3/10 Snaps or less...Tennis game a lot..So by the time I get tired ..It consumes half the battery..I guess battery performance has improved from the time I got the phone..also will be going in for the firmware upgrade hopefully that should also increase battery life..!
Thanks Vlam..!

Let's not forget that some of us with a BST-30, like myself, have 670mAh rating as opposed to others who also have a BST-30 but with 700mAh rating

.
I dunno, i've owned the phone for over a week and while the battery performance has improved over the initial charges, i still feel like it's under performing :-\. I don't even make that many calls either, might just complain to my service centre or something.
