> T610 Display in daylight (In Street)

Hi,
Can anyone help please? I have a fairly old T610 (almost a year old) I cannot see the screen when out in the street in daylight. I have adjusted the contrast and it makes no difference. Does anyone have any suggestions that may help please ?
I have also compared my phone display/screen to a friends T610 and their screen is far better.

Welcome here. All screens are hard to see at the sun, t630 screen is a bit better. It depends on the theme aswell, try classical thm or traditional, download them from se wap site.

I also seem to have a problem seeing my screen in daylight. Yesterday I was @ the beach while trying to view the forums- a near impossible task:-(. I've had my phone for almost 18 months.

All screens, even the best ones out there, are hard to view in sunlight. I usually use a theme with high contrast or shield the screen.
Then again 'daylight' here usually does not come with bright sunlight so I am usually ok ;-)

Yes quality of seeing phone screen outside dependes upon the themes as well.

t610's screen is realy bad in sunlight live whit it there is nothing you can do... i have one my selfe and im getting pretty tierd of it

I have a theme which is designed for bright conditions. It's called ZoOoMIN but i can't remember where i found it. If google can't find it you can pm me an address and i'll email it.

Only one screen I know of is great in sunlight. The Gameboy Advance screen. Instead of having backlight it has reflective material behind the screen. The downside was with the first version of the GBA, that you HAD to have strong light on the screen before is was even slightly visible.
Now they have come up with an solution to that problem. They still have the reflective screen but now they have light between the screen and the front glass. The light is pointed down at the screen and the reflective material the emmits it back at the user. The beauty of this design is you now have a screen that works perfect in direct sunlight and still is visible in the dark.
A perfect combination I would like to see in laptops and phones as well.
