> connect probs- p800

hey
my p800 used to connect to my comp fine, but the other day my comp got a virus on it and some of the software had 2 be deleted, and now my p800 doesnt connect. it shows it it is connected on the icon at the bottom but when i click on the p800 file it says its not connected
i uninstalled the software that came with the p800 and installed it again, but it still wont connect
any suggestions as to why this is?

i re- installed it again with no background programms and it seems to work now
