I currently have a t610 on orange, my contract finishes on 3/08/04. I wont be upgrading-orange want too much for the k700i. In light of the recent comments about the shortcuts being removed by orange, should i go 02? I've never bought on-line either, any recommended websites please? I've used http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk before, and they were very good. Ordered one of my phones and received it within 3 days on a O2 contract which, to buy the phone i got would have been twice as expensive from an O2 shop or CPW.

Apparently, people who've got their K700 from http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk on Orange and Vodaphone tarrifs also got an unbranded phone.. but its better to be safe and go with O2 IMO.

Send your termination letter to Orange, within a couple of day you'll get a courtesy phone call wanting you to stay with Orange, and they'll give you the K700 and a decent contract you won't normally be able to get, as you'll be treated as a loyal customer.

I had the same treatment from Singlepoint, typically i never thought of this though and i'd already ordered the K700 with O2.

What i was offered to not leave Single point was the K700, for a year for £89! It was a fairly mince contract, but hell think of it this way, you could have got the phone, smashed the simm, and sold the phone on ebay for £150 making a tidy profit!

thanks for the replys folks. after reading through the posts on the shortcut problems i`m leaning towards the k700i on o2. can anyone confirm i`ll get a fone with no adjustments on o2? i dont want to lose the joystick left push to write msgs. also do 02 do an equivalent to the orange world package? i currently pay £4 per month for unlimited access to wap. thanks-jon
