Hi guys,

I was once messing around listening to an ogg on my P900 and also through winamp at the same time (P900 left channel left, PC right channel in right) and I noticed that the P900 "overtook" the PC (noticable since the psychoacoustic effects of one signal being in front (phase-wise) of another sound like increased amplitude - i.e. how you tell if something is to the left or right of you)

Anyway, I thought this was interesting so I took both inputs into a scope and adjusted the timebase so that they were in sync. Sure enough, after about 11/12seconds the P900 was *noticably* out of phase with winamp - I mean, ahead to the extent that it should be audible - as I had thought.

So tell me!

Does OggPlay! have a timing problem!?

Perhaps I should restate, Oggplay DOES have a timing prolem relative to winamp.

And frankly, im more likely to agree with the timing of a machine that runs at over 3GHz since it's interrupt sequences add less of an overhead.

Am I missing something?

If my songs end up lasting 3-4seconds shorter on my P900 I should be worried!
