possibly not such a horror story, after pushing them to make good. It seems they might just do that. I will update this thread as the negotiation continues.

Had a similar problem in the UK, but we have law's which protect up against such corporate negligence. Would be careful not to fall into the trap of blaming your service provides though, i.e would you blame a fuel company for not honouring a car insurance claim? don't take that the wrong way, as i'm not trying to be sarcastic. However, i would look at taking legal action against this dishonourable insurance provides!
