Li-ion batteries can no longer run these hungry phones. So Toshiba developed a prototype of battery which is charged with methanol and can produce 100mW of energy. Can we expect these batteries in SE phones?

Once new improved types of batterys can be mass produced at a competitive price against old types - then yes naturally we will see new types of batteries in S//E phones. Not nescessarily this one - something else even better might be available.

I thought these new types of batteries were still so far in the prototype stage that they were about the same size as a car battery? Wouldnt be much good in a phone!
