Hi all,

I was playing around with some ringtones... and just set a long playing ringtone (about 90 sec) as the SMS ringtone.
And when the next SMS arrived, it went bang... loud in a quiet office. I picked up my P900, and there was the first problem. Its not like picking up a ringing phone... it was locked. I had to unlock it and in a fizzy (everyone is already staring at me in office) tried to read the SMS (thinking that once I reach there, the ring would stop). But it didnt

Now I'm back to the default "tddding" for SMS....
Does anyone know of a way to stop the ringtone of cut the volume down as soon as u get a SMS?

I had that problem with my P800 but not with my P900.
On mine the message tone will stop as soon as you read the message.
I don't know any other way apart from silencing the phone as quick as you can.
