They are both pretty good at everything you've described, you would be better trying them and seeing which one you prefer.

If you prefer PDA with phone, go for a XDA2

If you prefer a phone with PDA, go for a p900.

Personally id go for a p900 it looks like a phone.

With the XDA2 You have to use a stylus. Therefore 2 hand operation.

Also a P900 has a proper keypad. And the software is better. Its not microsoft.

All in all, Go for the P900.

Had both, sold my XDA2 but still use my P900 everyday.

For the things you listed I would say XDA2 but its not that good as phone.

As a muic player the supplied earphones are really poor but it plays WMA/MP3 & is great.

Video/Camera/Games/PDA all better on XDA2. But, I wouldn't use an XDA2 as a phone but a connected PDA.
Prefer Opera on P900 to Pocket Explorer on XDA2. Mail better on XDA2.
Symbian OS in P900 far more stabIe & reliable than Pocket PC.

Third party applications & games far better & lot more on XDA2

Is that true if the battery of the XDA II goes flat you will lose every data and settings from the internal memory?

Hay mate, get a XDA 3, or another name its called a MDA 3, Its just like a XDA 2 but with more memory and wifi and a full keyboard!!!!!! Little smaller and comes out in Sept.

I think I am buying that one! so far 2nd place for me is MPx or P910!

T-mobile will offer the XDA3/MDA3. So you ask them what they know about it and when it will arrive.

XDA is bloated microsoft drivel.

You don't really want to close yourself into propriority music formats such as WMA.. better to stay open, MP3 / AAC etc.
