Hi,

When I make longer phonecalls (40 minutes etc), it sometimes happens that the voice of the other person suddenly gets distorted or garbled. You can almost not hear what the other guy is saying, but he will hear you perfectly. I usually end the call and call again --- problem gone.

I have noticed this problem with both my T68 and T68i, but never with any previous cellphones.

Anyone else who has had this problem?

not on my phone (even 1 hour or longer talk time). you should have it replaced.

Well you see, the sneaky thing is that it doesn't happen every time you make a long call. Not even every third or fifth "long-call". But once in a while (maybe in 5% of the "long-calls"), the garbling starts.

And it happened to both my T68m and my new T68i (which is not an upgraded T68m), so either I am extremely unlucky or this is a pretty basic problem.

Well you shouldn't really be talking that much on your mobile - it's bad for your health...

@jas
yes, such happened to me. twice if i remember correctly. twice since january. but yah, i cant figure out what causes it... one time, the moment the other party answered, it was already garbled... so i just dropped the call and redialed, and it was ok again...

ejasim is right, too much time on the mobile phone is dangerous to your health. read the SAR disclosure sheet of your phone.

if you talk on the mobile phone for 30-60 minutes long, like i do sometimes, use a handsfree or a headset, that way the radiation isnt directed towards your head since the phone is away from you.

I have Telia, so I don't think it is operator related.
